The World is a Stage
A new script is written and the curtain is drawn.
The stage is newly recycled and the theatre has been transformed. Unveiled are the opportunities to replace the last tragic scene of vandalism and rebellion.
An ignorant but willing participant in the unstoppable progression of creativity. Having never auditioned but suddenly cast as the staring role.
We are left in suspense. Every word, every scene…gives us new direction. A chance to start all over again, knowing more about the past.
A man in his time plays many parts, and every idea is built upon the last. We all have our exits and our entrances.
The lights have dimmed and the drama of this chapter has closed.
“Well, that’s one way to end it. Thanks mate, it’s been fun.”
New paint covers old paint and so begins the change and progress on ideas left behind. Creativity perpetually evolves; building upon the questions and commentary of humanity and challenging the viewer to evaluate any and all past conclusions. Unaware that you are uniquely required and necessary to evolve the idea. Your reaction is captured in the art, and that moment begins the next intention. Art reflects what we thought we understood about ourselves and tells us …what we know is…. what we don’t know.
Every shape, every color, gives new meaning and direction on the path to an unknown intention to change the observer. Every time we question an idea we become someone new. Every piece of art changes the artist. Every artist evolves the philosophy of our next reaction.
“Live in a world made by art… not just decorated with it.”
