An adventure of unexpected expectations through wonderland asks us questions about who we are. Who were we before now and who it is we will become? Can we define ourselves by every experience real or imagined as a collection of moments that adapt and advance what we believe to be truth only in the now? Alice examines her own identity and looks to find herself in the characters around her. How can she know who she is or who she will be? Or even if she is at all? Where is it we are all in such a hurry to go? How can we be late if we don’t know where we’re going and how do we know when we get there? Is it all based on the perspective of where we stand now? How can anything be what it is if what is, is only relative in the first place? Often we can best define who we are by determining who we are not. By trying on everyone else’s costumes, Alice learns what suits her best. It is the difference and similarities that bring us clarity in the unclear and it’s that beauty that keeps us exploring and inspired. Forever adopting and discarding what attracts and repels until we change our angle. Big or small, red or blue, to be or not to be. Question the questions and answer the answers. In the quest to see through the looking glass, the obvious can often be quite difficult to make out while the tiniest details seem crystal clear. The joy of discovery is just that, in the search for understanding. “What is, it wouldn’t be. And what it wouldn’t be it is, you see.”
